Where have all the Republicans gone?

There's a fascinating article out today by Rasmussen entitled "Where have all the Republicans gone?" Because of the excitement generated by the Obama and Clinton campaigns coupled by the President's low approval ratings, registered Democrats outpace registered Republicans by over 10%. If McCain wants to win in November not only will he need the Republican base to come out in force, but he'll also need a majority of Independents as well as disenfranchised Democrats.
