Some not so good news

In a year where Democrats are suppose to take back the White House and enlarge their majorities in both the House and Senate, the Clinton/Obama tug-of-war has certainly bolstered Senator John McCain's hopes of capturing the White House. And, with a concerted effort, as the Democrats continue to crash and burn this primary season coupled with a "do-nothing" Congress led by Pelosi and Reed, the Republicans could actually win the White House and make considerable in-roads in re-capturing Congress if they revert back to the conservative priciples that have made it a great party in the past. However, there is some bad news at the state and local levels that do not bode well for the Republicans this election cycle despite some good fortune.
