Bob Barr for President?

It sounds strange, but yes, former Georgua Congressman Bob Barr is putting together a presidential exploratory committee for the upcoming general election. Barr, now a Libertarian, was a favorite of conservative Republicans back in the 1990s always at the ready to criticize Bill Clinton. Barr was instrumental in helping balance the budget back in the late 1990s. He also was one of the first members of Congress to call for Clinton's impeachment. Barr left the Repulican party back in 2006 because of the Bush administration's fiscal irresponsibility. Barr was also critical of Bush for violating our civil liberties.
