Obama, a new kind of Democrat?

You know the Democrats smell blood in the water. Senator Barack Obama is not only on the verge of supporting reauthorizing the FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) bill that will come up for a vote on the Senate floor after the holiday recess, but he now says he wants to expand some of the faith based initiatives that were started under the Bush administration. Supporting FISA is one thing, but wanting to use public money for private charities/organization to provide social services must drive far left liberals batty! Obama is taking the old Nixon strategy of playing to the base of your party during the primaries then tracking back to the center for the general election to new heights. Not only does Obama think he can pick off independents and disenfranchised Republicans, but his campaign believes Obama can also sway evangelicals. Brilliant! This new strategy combined with the possibility of campaiging in all fifty states and Obama's ability to raise endless amounts of money all make Obama hm favorite going into November. John McCain, are you listening?
