General Wesley Clark's comments this week about Senator John McCain's service record in Vietnam are disingenuous at best. If you recall back in 2004, General Clark was a Democrat candidate for president. He did not win the nomination but he did stake his entire presidential bid on his military service. If it were not for Clark's military service he would have never been taken seriously as a presidential candidate, let alone a player in Democrat politics. Spending five and half years in the "Hanoi" Hilton and not abandoning his men when he had the chance to go home speaks volumes about McCain's character as well as the kind of leader he would make should he win the White House in November. Shame on you General Clark for such ridiculous remarks.
It's been 2,686 days since there's been a terrorist attack on US soil. Good day and God bless.
